Why should the classroom light design be anti-glare

Why is it necessary to prevent glare when designing classroom lighting? With people's attention to the protection of students' eyesight, the classroom lighting market has developed rapidly, and a large number of low-cost, low-quality classroom lights have flooded the market. Many companies have stated that their products are harmless to glare. What is glare? What are the benefits of anti-glare? For everyone to analyze!

Glare is a very poor lighting phenomenon. When the brightness of the light source is very high or the brightness difference between the background and the field of view is large, "glare" will occur. High brightness is the source of glare. Prolonged exposure to strong light can cause blindness. As strong light stimulates the eyes, especially the lens, the damage to the vitreous body will cause a photoelectric response to a certain extent, making the vitreous body turbid and degrading, and the vision is significantly reduced. Students stay in school for a long time and often stay in the classroom with dazzling classroom lighting, which will not only affect the quality of students' classes, but also seriously affect the health of students' eyesight.

At present, in most schools, traditional T8 fluorescent lamps are widely used in education lighting. These problems are more obvious, such as low luminous efficiency, severe illumination, uneven illumination, and high maintenance costs. Such as T8 fluorescent lamps, ordinary LED lamps, etc., its luminous efficiency is about 60-70lm/W, and the color rendering index is only about 70, which does not meet the standard (the national standard is not less than 80). Especially T8 fluorescent lamps have problems such as naked light glare, stroboscopic, blue light and other visual damage. Therefore, many schools have begun to look for alternatives to traditional lighting, and professional education lighting has become an ideal choice for many schools.
