The Optisolis COB packages from Nichia offer a natural light source with a spectrum that offers the best possible replication of sunshine in the market. Applications where excellent color rendering, precise beam control, and high luminous efficacy are required, such as those in museums, art galleries, and retail display lighting, are where Optisolis performs best. These ceramic packages with low thermal resistance can function with a minor efficiency loss at junction temperatures up to 140 °C.
D-series from Samsung
For directional lighting applications such as multifaceted reflector (MR) bulbs, parabolic aluminized reflector (PAR) lamps, spotlights, and downlights, Samsung D-series COB LEDs are designed to bring out the most ideal color tones and luminous efficacies. These multiple quantum well (MQW) LED packages, which are based on InGaN/AlGaN/GaN, have a high lumen density that enables high CBCP spotlighting with clean light beams and excellent color uniformity. Effective thermal management is facilitated by a low thermal resistance.
