Lumileds' high-power, high-efficiency LUXEON Rubix products are expanded to satisfy the need for intense colours and very high-quality white light from a single solution.
San Jose, California As LED technology opens up new lighting options, the lighting sector is changing. The circular economy and sustainability are major concerns, and there is a growing need for fixtures with more value and functionality. There are three distinct current trends. The first step is to install fixtures, which might have vibrant colours or be white. Second, RGBW does not provide you the freedom to employ white or other colours in any ratio. The smallest light producing surface for discrete clusters and the lowest optic size to produce tight beam angles, as low as 10 degrees, are made possible by the LUXEON Rubix's compact size (1.4 x 1.4 mm). Lumileds has introduced six more LUXEON Rubix white LEDs with CCTs ranging from 2200K to 6500K, CRIs of 70, 80, and 90, and a minimum luminous flux of 140 to 220 lumens in order to fulfil the goals of luminaire manufacturers and end users.
