Common problems and analysis of LED lighting
According to feedback from relevant units, LED lighting systems often encounter some problems that affect the normal use of the system. Common problems are listed as follows:
1. Simultaneous activation of multiple LED power supplies causes the lighting circuit miniature circuit breaker to trip, affecting the normal use of lighting
This problem has been introduced in the past. The main reason is that the instantaneously started LED lamp has a large inrush current, and the inrush current is as high as tens of times, or even hundreds of times.
2. Interference to other lighting equipment and communication equipment
In a real case, the LED desk lamp on a hotel desk was plugged into the socket, no matter whether the lamp was turned on or not, the following strange phenomena appeared:
The two wall lamps with decorative paintings flash periodically, and there is no switch to turn off the two lamps, which will affect people's normal sleep;
The set-top box of the TV cannot be loaded, started, and cannot be used normally.
The two electrician masters in the hotel failed to solve this problem after a long inspection. The problem is not small. The author accidentally found that the desk lamp and the wall lamp changed periodically, unplug the socket of the desk lamp, the problem was completely solved, the wall lamp and the set-top box returned to normal, and the wall lamp can be turned off with a switch. After analysis, the desk lamp interferes with the surrounding equipment and affects the normal use of other equipment.
3. Three-phase current power supply, the temperature of the neutral wire is too high
When the LED lamp uses three-phase current to supply power, the temperature of the neutral wire is too high. There may be two situations for this problem:
The harmonics are too large, especially the 3rd, 9th, and 15th harmonics. Because the 3rd, 9th, and 15th harmonic currents on the three phases are in the same direction, the current on the neutral line is 3 times the harmonic current. Much larger than the phase line current;
The phases share the neutral line, and the neutral line is smaller than the cross-section of the phase line, and the lamp is a single-phase power supply, and the single-phase is unbalanced during operation, which causes the neutral line to be overloaded and the temperature is too high.
4. The light goes out when the voltage is low
This problem is determined by the LED driver. Some products have a wider input voltage range and some have a narrower input voltage range.
In short, LED is the inevitable lighting, the problems encountered are the problems in the progress, the industry needs to strengthen cooperation and research, solve these problems in time, and let the healthy development of LED lighting!
