What are the indicators for judging the quality of indoor LED lighting fixtures?

In the LED lighting era, the lighting quality of lamps has become more important. Lamps are constantly updated and changed. When purchasing lamps, we must also pay attention to them. So what are the indicators to measure the lighting quality of LED lamps? Let's take a look!

What are the indicators for judging the quality of indoor LED lighting fixtures?

1. Color temperature. Color temperature is a physical quantity that defines the color of a light source, and its unit is K (Kelvin). If it is indoor lighting, the color temperature is generally between 2800K-6500K. Generally speaking, the spectral distribution of incandescent lamps and LED lamps is better than that of high-pressure sodium lamps and fluorescent lamps, but incandescent lamps consume more energy, so LED light sources will become the best choice.

2. Color rendering. Color rendering refers to the characteristics of different colors that light sources of different spectrums illuminate on objects of the same color. The color rendering index (Ra) is usually used to indicate the color rendering of the light source. Ra ranges from 0-100. The closer the Ra value is to 100, the higher the color rendering. Generally speaking, the higher the color rendering index of the LED light source, the better its color rendering performance.

For the LED light source, the higher the color rendering, the higher the cost of the LED light source, so the quality of the light source is relatively better. Therefore, the quality of the LED light source can be judged by the color rendering.

3. Luminous efficiency. Luminous efficiency is a parameter of a light source. It is the ratio of luminous flux to power. The unit is lm/w (lumens per watt). The greater the luminous flux, the higher the brightness of the light source. Therefore, LED lighting products with high luminous efficiency have relatively good light source quality.

4. Energy-saving performance. Energy saving is an important measure of our LED lighting, and it also meets the standard of low-carbon life. Parameters related to the energy-saving performance of LED lamps include: the power efficiency of the LED drive power supply, the heat dissipation performance of the LED light source, the luminous efficiency and so on.

In short, to measure the quality of indoor lighting fixtures, one should not only look at unilateral factors, but only by combining them together can we choose the best LED lighting fixtures.
