Comparison of LED fluorescent lamps with isolated non-isolated power supply
In order not to make major changes, many LED manufacturers directly built the power supply into the LED fluorescent lamp. There are two types of built-in power supplies, one is non-isolated and the other is isolated.
Non-isolated power LED fluorescent lamps are not easy to pass CE and UL certification. The built-in power supply LED fluorescent lamp has low efficiency, short life and 10% lower cost.
The isolated power LED fluorescent lamp can easily pass CE and UL certification. The external power supply LED fluorescent lamp has high efficiency, long life and 10% higher cost.
