How long is the life of fluorescent lamps and how long is the life of ordinary fluorescent lamps?
How long the life of the fluorescent lamp is, generally no less than 3000 hours, the condition is that it is continuously lit for 3 hours every time it is started. With the length of the continuous ignition time for each start, the life of the fluorescent tube is relatively extended or shortened. Because every time the lamp is started, the filament of the lamp is impacted by high voltage, and the current at the start is 2 to 3 times the current when it is normally ignited. Start-up accelerates the consumption of the electron emission material on the filament. When the electron emission material on the filament is exhausted, the life of the lamp tube is over. The life span of ordinary fluorescent lamps depends on your lamp habits. If it is started once and the lamp is only ignited for 1 hour, the life of the lamp tube will be shortened to less than 70%. Therefore, try to avoid unreasonably frequent starting when using fluorescent lamps.
