First of all, what are the requirements for the IP68 waterproof rating? In addition to ordinary waterproofing, there is a particularly important requirement. The requirement is that it can be placed in water and can be used in water at a depth of 50 meters. This requirement is very high and generally cannot be done.
So, how can it be done? This is from several aspects, the following issues must be dealt with
1. For the selection of pipes, it is inevitable to use all plastic pipes, but there are many kinds of plastics, and they are not easy to deform. Langte chooses anti-aging PC material to make it. The advantage is that it is anti-aging, does not deform, and has good waterproof performance. The use of two-color pipes can directly install the power supply into the waterproof LED tube, which is much easier to install.
2. The heat dissipation problem, the heat dissipation of the waterproof led tube is very important. It is inevitable to use aluminum substrate for heat dissipation. The aluminum substrate must have a high heat dissipation coefficient to facilitate rapid heat dissipation. Because it is sealed, this must be done well, otherwise the heat dissipation will be poor. An increase in temperature will affect the life of the lamp beads and cause serious LED lamp bead decay.
3. Waterproof plug, this is a key link. Due to the high requirements, the airtightness must be good here, otherwise the water will penetrate into the led tube from the plug, and all previous efforts will be lost. How to do it? The plug should also be made of plastic. Adhesive waterproof glue is used to make the waterproof reliable. Note that the lead must be made of a waterproof connector lead, so as to be foolproof, because the waterproof connector contains a waterproof rubber ring in order to be completely waterproof. Tighten the screw cap, and gently pull the wire end with your hand to see if it is loose or not. It means that it is tightened.
The waterproof lamp tube IP68 generally achieves single-ended energization, and there are several specifications such as high-voltage 220v and low-voltage 12v, 24v, and 36v. Suggestion: In order to ensure safety, it is best to use low-voltage power supply, which can be foolproof.
