How to identify the quality of rechargeable batteries?

How to identify the quality of rechargeable batteries?

1. The most useful method is to directly test and compare the above important performance indicators.

Since most of the above indicators have to be measured with dedicated instruments, it is not feasible for ordinary consumers. Of course, there are some indirect means that can be used for rough detection. For example, if two different batteries are used with the same electrical appliance (such as a Walkman) under the same conditions, the battery with a longer usage time is naturally a product with a higher capacity.

2. Measure the weight and see the capacity

Generally speaking, batteries with the same process, products with larger capacity must be heavier. For example, at the current level of industry technology, the weight of a single AA type 2100mAh capacity NiMH battery that can meet the standards in all aspects is generally greater than 29 grams.

3. Look at the appearance packaging

Visual appearance is an important reference to measure the quality of many products. For batteries, dense and smooth battery casings, clear printing, and excellent texture of packaging materials are the basis for quality assurance. Qualified battery products should print the trademark, factory name, factory address, product category and model, voltage identification, implementation standard, warning content, production date, etc. on the outer packaging of the battery. For dry batteries, also indicate the shelf life. Most inferior products will have unqualified items in the above appearance and packaging indicators.
