And how much should we cost for a power supply! ?
Recently, I heard: LED street lights in some areas of Shenzhen have been broken after less than a year. Later, I also saw in the media: LED traffic lights in some areas have not been used for long, so I don’t know if it is Show green light or red light;
Those of us who are making power supplies (or LED lights) should consider whether they should really make LED lighting their own characteristics.
The LED market needs technical upgrades and standardized designs. If you don't do this, it will become more and more chaotic, and eventually become a mobile phone charger! ! !
Zhongshan's lamp production is relatively well-known, but in terms of LED lamp production, Zhongshan is still far from explaining the problem. The current LED production bases do not include Zhongshan. The largest LED production base is Shenzhen, with nearly 1,000 upstream, midstream and downstream manufacturers accounting for more than 44% of the country. The annual output value in 2008 was 18 billion, accounting for more than 60% of the country.
A few days ago, I did a market survey on my Zhongshan area. In the ancient town known as the Chinese lamp capital, I spent a whole day investigating the surrounding LED market, including stores and some factories, and found that it was a problem. Frequently, in summary, there are the following points:
1. The market is chaotic, and the product is single. From the appearance and structure design, there is a monotonous problem, that is, those shapes are being used, and LED lights represented by MR16 account for most of the market!
2. The power supply is messy, maybe because you have forgotten the importance of electronic components to LED products. The merchants I have seen say how good the power supply is. In fact, it is not. From a professional point of view, few power supply companies do a good job. Of course, it may be that the research and development strength in this area is not too strong, which has caused the chaotic operation of the current LED drive power supply, but the safety regulations, EMC, but everything is OK, as long as the light is on!
3. Sales staff don't understand technology, technicians dare not tell the truth. After seeing so many stores, their task is basically to fool you and make you believe that their LED power products are very good!
4. Luminous use of light sources, domestic, Taiwanese, European, American, Japanese, Korean...LED power sources are available, taking the most common 1W white light, the price ranges from a few yuan to a few yuan, and these determine the luminous flux. Light decay, life expectancy varies greatly, but the interesting thing is that all businesses vowed to say that it can be used for 50,000 hours. I am a R&D and designer myself. I know exactly what it is like. So when the business says it has a life span of 50,000-100,000 hours At that time, I chose to leave the first time, because it didn't make sense to continue discussing.
5. CCC and CE standards are basically available, but when I saw it, I was shocked. I took a look at an LED desk lamp. It was a RC step-down LED power supply. It was actually marked with CCC, FCC, CE. Certification, no doubt, are all holding tiger skins as a banner! It's all fake! ! !
6. The heat dissipation problem, small size is a troublesome problem for lighting electronics, and the LED happens to be in this dead zone, and the heat dissipation makes the LED a short-lived ghost! But from what we have seen so far, businesses don’t give much consideration to this. Perhaps it is the cost of heat dissipation. They basically use aluminum alloy materials, so LED power supplies are basically nothing new in heat dissipation!
7. No standard, basically all fake products! Every factory is making LED lamps, and quite a few of them are exporting!
