LED lamp voltage range, safety and fault maintenance
The voltage range of the LED tube is relatively wide, and the protection circuit is adopted, so the safety of the LED tube is guaranteed. Even if there is an abnormality, it is within the warranty period. We, Langte Lighting, are responsible for the maintenance of LED tube failures. Please rest assured
1. LED tube voltage range
What is the input voltage of the LED tube?
According to customer needs, our Benwe lighting led tube has a variety of input voltages
1) Low voltage input led tube, 12v, 24v, 36v, all belong to the safe voltage. Will not cause the problem of electric shock. The led tube has high safety performance.
2) Normal medium voltage led tube. Mainly include, single voltage 220vLED tube, single voltage 110vled tube; narrow voltage led tube 175-265v; wide voltage led tube 85-265v; AC and DC dual purpose led tube
3) High voltage led tube 277v, 277v-347v-380v led tube
As for which regions and countries the LED tubes of these voltage ranges are suitable for, you need to refer to the relevant knowledge links. Comparison table of single-phase AC voltage values in various countries in the world
For example, most countries use 220v, North America and Japan use 110v, and North America also uses 277v and 347v.
It must be understood during production, otherwise the voltage will not match, the led tube will not work, and may even be burned.
LED tube output voltage
The output voltage is very important. When the power supply performs voltage conversion, it must output the DC voltage and constant current within the design range in order to promote the LED light panel to emit light.
Common LED lamp power supply output voltages are
1) For isolated power supply; generally output 36-42v
2) For non-isolated power supply: general output 75-85v
LED light board voltage
There are many LED lamp beads on the led light board. According to the design needs, different series and parallel methods are used to form a light string that meets the requirements. It can work only when it matches the output voltage.
1) Non-isolated power supply light board, using 20 series 60v63v, 21 series, 24 series 72v
2) Isolation power supply light board, using 10 strings of 30v, 12 strings of 36v
2. the safety of LED tubes
1). LED tube structure mode
Divided into single-ended energized LED tubes and double-ended energized LED tubes
To replace the traditional fluorescent tube with LED tube, it is necessary to adjust and transform the related circuit in the bracket. Whether it is a double-ended LED tube or a single-ended LED tube, the wiring needs to be modified during installation.
2). LED tube wiring method
1) The shortcomings of double-ended energization. Some double-ended LED tubes have internal electrical connections between the two ends. When one end of the double-ended LED tube is inserted into a charged lamp holder, the other floating end will be charged. In practical applications, because the installer often cannot tell whether the lamp switch has cut off the power supply, when one end of the double-ended LED tube is inserted into the other end of the live pin, the installer may be shocked by electric shocks and additional injuries to the human body from falling.
2) The advantages of single-ended energized LED tubes, compared to double-ended LED tubes, single-ended LED tubes are safer. Both Philips Lighting and Langte Lighting produce single-ended power-in LED tubes, as well as double-ended power-in LED tubes. The risk of electric shock during the installation of double-ended power-on LED tubes is higher.
3) Remedy for double-ended energized led tube, double-ended wiring with additional switch transition scheme. An electric shock may occur when the switch is turned on, and no electric shock may occur when the switch is turned off. In addition, if the start switch is not set to the closed state when the lamp is installed, the LED lamp cannot be lit.
3. LED lamp failure repair method
1) Failure phenomenon: All LEDs flash.
Problem: LED light-emitting module failure, poor contact.
Fault maintenance: re-fix and connect the loose part.
2) Phenomenon: All the LED lamp beads are off.
Question: The switching power supply has no voltage output, and whether the output wiring of the switching power supply is correct.
Trouble repair: Test the power and connect it to the input end of the switching power supply, and whether the positive and negative poles of the power cord are correct.
3) Failure phenomenon: The LED light is dim.
Problem: The LED polarity is reversed. Or the LED chip is too long, or the switching power supply and the LED voltage label are inconsistent.
Troubleshooting: Ensure the correct wiring of the positive and negative poles, reduce the connection of the LED, and ensure that the power supply and the LED voltage label are consistent.
4) Trouble phenomenon: The LED lights of some circuits do not light up.
Question: Is the connection direction normal? Is the power cord connected correctly? The power cord is plugged in reverse.
Troubleshooting: Remove the led lamp beads and re-direct them in the correct direction. Make sure that the red wire is connected to the positive pole and the black wire is connected to the negative pole. Check out the reverse connection and reconnect it correctly.
4. matters needing attention:
The led lamp needs to be driven by a constant current source. The conduction voltage of a single wick is between 2.8v and 3v, and this value will decrease after the temperature rises for a period of time. The whole lamp is composed of multiple wicks in series and parallel, because the number of series is different. Therefore, the voltage is also different. When working, the current is basically the same, and the voltage will change with the light string.
