LED lights≠LED jewelry lights
LED jewelry lights are a sub-category of LED lights. LED jewelry lights must meet the four requirements of high brightness, good illumination, low light decay, and long life.
What we understand is that LED lights are conventional LED home lighting. There is still a big difference between the two.
1. High brightness
LED chips are divided into many sizes and brightness levels. LED jewelry lights must use the largest size and highest brightness LED chip to meet the ultra-high brightness required for jewelry, brand clothing, and digital product lighting. This is a special requirement for commercial display lighting;
Ordinary LED household lighting does not have such demanding requirements, and it also has very strict cost control. Therefore, the brightness of LED used in ordinary LED household lamps is far worse than that of LED jewelry lamps.
2. Irradiation effect
LED jewelry lights require that the color rendering index exceeds 80 when the brightness is met. If the color rendering index is high, the jewels illuminated will not be distorted. However, ordinary LED household lamps are limited by cost pressure, and the color rendering index only needs to be above 70. Just like the height of the pixels of a mobile phone, the reflection of jewels can also be clear/fuzzy in human eyes.
3. Low light decay
LED light attenuation means that after a period of time when the LED is lit, its light intensity will be lower than the original light intensity, and the lower part is the LED light attenuation. LED jewelry lights require light decay less than 1% within 3000 hours of use, and less than 3% within 1000 hours. However, ordinary LED lights are far from meeting this requirement, and it is very common that light declines after half a year of use.
4. Long life
LED jewelry lights require 20,000 hours of use when they are lit for more than ten hours a day. This requires high quality and heat dissipation of the LED itself, while ordinary LED household lamps currently have a life span of about 10,000 hours. Therefore, not all lamps can create good lighting effects for jewelry stores. Choosing a professional LED light can make jewelry shine with colorful light and improve the overall sales performance of the store.
