LED spotlights, led PAR lights, safety certification requirements

LED spotlight safety certification requirements

The working voltage of MR16LED spotlight is a safe voltage and generally does not require relevant certification. If relevant certification is required, it is more difficult to pass electromagnetic compatibility. This must be paid attention to.

Regarding the certification of LED spotlights, internationally, the European CE and North American UL certification are the main ones, and the CE certification includes LVD and EMC. In North America, UL safety and FCC electromagnetic compatibility certifications are required. At present, the measurement parameters of LED lamps include luminous flux, luminous efficiency, light intensity distribution, central light intensity, brightness, brightness distribution, color coordinates, correlated color temperature, color rendering index, etc.

  1. To export LED lighting products to Europe, the products must pass ERP Directive and Energy Label Directive. The European Union reminds that LED lamps that meet the ERP directive must be tested at 6000h to meet functional requirements, energy efficiency requirements and complex product information requirements.

The power supply CE safety certification standard EN61347-2-13: 2014 was officially promulgated and implemented on July 8, 2015, and was enforced on October 8, 2017.

  2. From November 1, 2010, lighting products exported to the European Union have added an EMF requirement, that is, electromagnetic radiation assessment related to human exposure is required. The corresponding standard is EN62493: 2010.

The International Commission on Illumination (CIE) has issued an international standard, whose standard name is CIESO25:2015 "Test Methods for LED Lamps, Lamps and Modules".

Safety certification requirements for led PAR lights

  1. my country adopts voluntary certification (CQC) for reflective self-ballasted LED lamps (LED PAR spotlights), and the implementation of the national standard is GB 24906—2010 "Safety requirements for self-ballasted LED lamps above 50V for general lighting" GB17743— 2007 "Limits and Measurement Methods of Radio Disturbance Characteristics of Electrical Lighting and Similar Equipment", GB 17625.1—2012 "Electromagnetic Compatibility Limit Harmonic Current Emission Limit Equipment (Equipment Input Current ≤16A)", GB/T7249— 2008 "Maximum Dimensions of Incandescent Lamps". Energy-saving certification requirements for LED spotlights, the implementation standards are CQC3129-2013 "Reflective self-rechargeable LED lamp energy-saving certification technical specifications" and CQC31-465137-2013 "Reflective self-ballasted LED lamp energy-saving certification rules".

  2. The energy-saving certification (CQC) of LED PAR spotlights, its test items include marking, shape size, early failure, initial luminous flux, initial luminous efficiency, initial chromaticity, initial color rendering, color unevenness, and initial central light intensity , Beam angle, lamp power, power factor, 3000h luminous flux maintenance rate, color drift, applicable working voltage and applicable ambient temperature

The main structure of LED PAR lamp consists of lens, heat sink (aluminum cup), LED and aluminum substrate, power supply, lamp holder and lamp holder.

  3. The PAR light label meets the requirements of national standards.

During the withstand voltage test, if the PAR light turns on or flickers, it is a normal phenomenon, provided that it can pass the withstand voltage test.

, PAR lamp power supply adopts the power supply that has passed relevant certifications, such as 3C, CE, and UL certification.

The design of the PAR lamp circuit board must comply with the creepage distance and electrical clearance in GB 7000.1-2015 "Lamps Part 1: General Requirements and Tests". The power supply should be fixed inside the PAR lamp, and there should be no obvious shaking or noise.
