Library lighting design
The library has reading rooms, bookstores and other workshops.
The library is mainly for readers to read. Lighting must ensure sufficient illuminance value while improving the quality of lighting.
1. Lighting design of reading room
The lighting light should be soft, minimize glare, and use straight tube light led tube lighting. The illuminator adopts open type with grille lamp or diffuse reflector. The illuminator adopts the batwing light intensity distribution curve.
The reading room for long time reading should be equipped with local lighting. The general lighting should be controlled along the parallel direction of the outer window or zoned control.
2. Bookstore lighting design
The bookshelves are required to have vertical illuminance, and the bookshelves should adopt narrow light distribution or other illuminators with appropriate light distribution. The distance between lamps and flammable objects such as books should be greater than 0.5 meters. Special lamps should be used for the aisles between the stacks. The aisle lighting of the library should be independently equipped with dual-control switches at both ends of the aisle. LED lighting has no ultraviolet rays and uses yellow light LED tubes, which is suitable for precious books and cultural relics library.
The control of the library lighting should be centralized and controlled in the branch of the distribution box. The power distribution box for the bookstore lighting should have a power indicator and should be located outside the bookstore. Building materials with relatively high reflection should be used on the ground.
3. Special lighting equipment
The light source of the microfilm should ensure that the screen does not show reflections from other light sources.
Special attention should be paid to preventing glare in the microcomputer room, using grid-type led fluorescent lamps and led ceiling lamps.
The exhibition area uses track light installations and multiple spotlights.
The library storing important documents and precious books should be equipped with emergency lighting, duty lighting and guard lighting. The public lighting in the library and the lighting in the work (office) area should be distributed and controlled separately.
