As the largest international sports event held in my country after the Beijing Olympics, Wuhan, China will surely once again focus the attention of the world. In order to better hold the Military Games, Wuhan has carried out large-scale construction and renovation of stadiums. Stadium lighting, as the key and difficult point, plays a vital role in sports events. Based on years of accumulated experience in lighting technology, Benwei was fortunate to participate in the construction of the lighting project of the judo venues of the Wuhan Military Games and fully assist the smooth progress of the Military Games.
The Wuhan University of Technology Gymnasium is the judo stadium for the Military Games. The main stadium has a construction area of 18,000 square meters. The first floor is a functional area, with a total of 3 basketball halls, including 2 training halls (secondary halls) and 1 main stadium. The second floor is mainly for spectator stands and 10 toilets, with barrier-free passages and stands. Among the three major military games venues in Hongshan District, this venue has the largest construction area and the largest number of people, which fully meets the requirements for hosting large-scale international and domestic events.
Benwei has long focused on independent research and development of core technologies and participated in the formulation of a number of national and industry standards. In view of the high specifications and high standards of this project, as well as Benwei's technical advantages in the field of sports lighting, the customer finally selected Benwei as the supplier of this lighting renovation project. During the implementation of the project, Benwei organized a team of first-class sports lighting experts to carry out detailed and complete lighting design and site surveys based on the characteristics of the circular horse track structure inside the stadium, and issued the "Wuhan University of Technology Judo Competition Hall HDTV broadcasts major national and major international competitions." The "Lighting Calculation Book" was sent to the expert group for review and filing, and the on-site lighting commissioning was completed according to the lighting design drawings, which was finally unanimously approved by the venue owner, the user and Party A.
In large-scale international sports events, the quality of the lighting facilities and the light environment directly affects the athletes' competitive state and the quality of television pictures. After nearly two months of intense construction, the lighting upgrade and renovation project of the Wuhan University of Technology gymnasium was completed on schedule, and various technical indicators, such as horizontal illuminance, vertical illuminance, camera illuminance, glare, color temperature, color rendering index, etc., all reached the JGJ153-2016 standard Class VI HDTV broadcasts the requirements of major national and major international competitions to meet the high-definition broadcast needs of Judo events in the Military Games.
