Guoxuan Hi-Tech realized the curve listing through Dongyuan Electric, and Li Zhen, chairman of Guoxuan Hi-Tech, will become the actual controller of the listed company. After this transaction, the production and sales of power transmission and distribution equipment, the main business of Dongyuan Electric, will be retained.
On November 14, 2017, Guoxuan Hi-Tech announced that the company reviewed and approved the "Proposal on Determining the Company's Allotment Ratio", and the total amount of funds raised should not exceed 3.6 billion yuan, which is planned to be used for the industrialization of the company's new generation of high specific energy power lithium batteries. (1) Power lithium battery
Since 2016, the company has implemented lean production, the lithium iron phosphate battery cell production line has achieved module segment automation, the VDA (German Automobile Industry Association) standard ternary battery production line has achieved full-line automatic production, and the PACK production line has achieved high automation.
In April 2017, the project led by Hefei Guoxuan Hi-Tech Power Energy Co., Ltd. has made progress in the research and development and integrated application of high specific energy power lithium-ion batteries, and developed batteries with energy densities of 281Wh/Kg and 302Wh/Kg. Monomer samples. Both batteries use silicon-based anode materials, with the former using high-nickel cathode materials and the latter using lithium-rich cathode materials.
On June 9, 2017, Guoxuan Hi-Tech stated that 2017 is a key year for the company's power battery business to shift from lithium iron phosphate batteries to ternary batteries, and from commercial vehicle power batteries to passenger vehicle power batteries. . The company will focus on continuing to promote model development and mass production for passenger car customers, and will further increase the proportion of passenger car power battery business in the next 2-3 years, while matching the rapid technological progress and production capacity enhancement of ternary batteries.
In terms of energy density, the company will gradually switch from NCM111 to NCM622, and the energy density of the cell can reach 190Wh/Kg.
In January 2018, the company has determined to provide the ternary 622 power battery for the first model developed by Ford and Zotye, with a cruising range of more than 350km.
In terms of battery technology route, it has undertaken the major scientific and technological progress of 300Wh/Kg high energy density of the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China, and has developed ternary 811 soft-pack batteries with an energy density of 302Wh/Kg, and has begun to build a pilot line for related products. At the beginning of 2018, Guoxuan Hi-Tech revealed that its existing production line is expected to produce 6.5GWh of power batteries in 2018. In the first half of 2018, a 6-7GWh production line will be constructed and put into operation, of which the Sanyuan 622 production line is 5GWh. Guoxuan Hi-Tech stated that it is expected that the company's power battery output will reach 8-9GWh in 2018, and the company's overall production capacity will reach about 13-14GWh by the end of 2018.
In 2017, the company's ternary power battery installed capacity was about 0.4GWh, accounting for 18.59% of the company's total power installed capacity, with a market share of about 2.52%; of which more than 0.3GWh was used in the field of pure electric passenger vehicles.
(2) Lithium battery cathode material
The Lujiang base has become a key segment on the strategic layout of Guoxuan Hi-Tech. The core projects of the industrial chain such as the lithium iron phosphate cathode material base with an annual output of 8,000 tons, the first-phase 3,000-ton high-nickel ternary cathode material production line, the 3GWh power battery project, and the first phase of Hefei Xingyuan 80 million square meters of wet diaphragm factory have all settled in Guoxuan Hi-Tech Lujiang Base.
In terms of cathode materials, Guoxuan Hi-Tech is also gradually realizing the coverage of ternary cathode materials after realizing partial self-supply of lithium iron phosphate cathode materials.
As of May 2017, Hefei Guoxuan has a production capacity of 8,000 tons of lithium iron phosphate cathode materials, which can ensure that the company's power battery cathode materials are all produced by itself, without external procurement. The ternary battery cathode material companies are all outsourced, but the company has accelerated the construction of the production line of ternary cathode materials.
Guoxuan Hi-Tech also raised funds for 10,000 tons of high-nickel ternary cathode materials and 5,000 tons of silicon-based anode materials. The first-phase 3,000-ton high-nickel ternary cathode material production line was put into operation in the fourth quarter of 2017.
(3) Ternary precursors
MCC Ramu New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. was established in September 2017. China Metallurgical Group Co., Ltd. holds 31% of the shares, Hefei Guoxuan Hi-Tech Power Energy Co., Ltd. holds 30% of the shares, and Shenzhen BYD Lithium Battery Co., Ltd. holds 10% of the shares. %, holding 9% of the shares.
On August 30, 2017, Guoxuan Hi-Tech Co., Ltd. stated that it signed a shareholder agreement with China Metallurgical Technology Group Co., Ltd., BYD Co., Ltd., and Tangshan Caofeidian Development Investment Group Co., Ltd. to jointly establish a joint venture company, mainly engaged in lithium-ion battery three Yuan cathode material precursor project.
The project is divided into two phases of construction. The second phase of the project will add a production line with the same processing capacity.
(4) Lithium battery anode material
In April 2016, Hefei Guoxuan Battery Materials Co., Ltd. announced the second online announcement of the environmental impact assessment of the new project with an annual output of 10,000 tons of high-nickel ternary cathode materials and 5,000 tons of silicon-based anode materials.
In April 2017, the project "R&D and integrated application of high specific energy power lithium-ion battery" led by Hefei Guoxuan High-tech Power Energy Co., Ltd. has achieved phased progress, and the development has completed energy densities of 281Wh/Kg and 302Wh/Kg samples of battery cells. Both batteries use silicon-based anode materials, with the former using high-nickel cathode materials and the latter using lithium-rich cathode materials.
In May 2017, the company plans to jointly invest with Shanghai Electric Group Co., Ltd. to establish Shanghai Electric Guoxuan New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. with its own funds. The business scope of the joint venture is the research and development, manufacturing and sales of energy storage batteries and their materials, battery management systems, system integration, and integrated power management systems based on lithium titanate materials as negative electrodes.
On October 1, 2017, Guoxuan Hi-Tech, located in Lujiang, built a new lithium iron phosphate cathode material project with an annual output of 10,000 tons, a lithium titanate anode material project with an annual output of 2,000 tons, and a ternary cathode material project with an annual output of 3,000 tons.
(5) Lithium battery separator
On July 12, 2017, the first phase of Hefei Xingyuan New Energy Materials Co., Ltd., jointly invested by Guoxuan Hi-Tech and Xingyuan Materials, was put into operation. The total investment of Hefei Xingyuan project is 3 billion yuan, with an annual designed production capacity of 500 million square meters and a production capacity of 80 million square meters in the first phase. The main products are wet-process separators for high-performance power lithium-ion batteries.
