1. The appearance and material designation of the radiator: if the product is not sealed well, it can immediately generate heat convection with the external air scene. It is recommended to select aluminum profile or copper radiator with fins.
2. Reasonable heat dissipation area: for 1W high-power LED white light (the same for other colors), our factory strongly recommends that the total reasonable heat dissipation area of the radiator be ≥ 50-60 cubic centimeters. For 3W products, it is strongly recommended that the total reasonable heat dissipation area of the radiator be ≥ 150 cubic centimeters. The higher power depends on the premise and test results, and the radiator temperature should not exceed 60 ° C as far as possible. 3. Connector type: when connecting the high-power LED base steel plate with the radiator, please ensure that the appearance of the two is flat and the contact is excellent. In order to improve the fusion of the two appearances, it is recommended to coat a layer of thermal conductive silica gel (thermal conductivity of thermal conductive silica gel ≥ 3.0w / m.k) on the bottom end of the LED base steel plate or the appearance of the radiator. The thermal conductive silica gel needs to be evenly and properly coated, and then fixed with screws.
When welding high-power LED products, we must pay attention to the selection of constant temperature soldering iron. The welding temperature is below 260 ℃, and the time when the electric soldering iron contacts the LED welding layer does not exceed 3S; It is a high-power LED encapsulated with silicone rubber. The highest temperature resistance of silicone rubber is 180 ℃, so the welding temperature of LED should not exceed 170 ℃. Ultra low temperature electric soldering iron and ultra-low temperature soldering paste (wire) are used for electric welding. The LED bonding layer does not span 3S at one touch.
