Therefore, the driver IC selected for LED lamp bead lighting must have a satisfactory current output. When planning the product, the driver IC must operate in the optimal operating area of 70-90% of the full negative output.
2. The output current of the driver chip must be stable for a long time, so that the LED lamp beads can emit light steadily, and the brightness will not shine; the same batch of driver chips are used under the same conditions, and the output current should be as consistent as possible, that is, the discreteness should be small. In this way, the production can be effective and orderly on a large-scale automated production line; the driver chip with a certain discreteness in the output current must be selected before leaving the factory or put into the production line, and adjust the resistance of the current setting resistance (Rs) on the PCB board. 3. The input voltage range of the driver chip should meet DC8-40V to cover the needs of the application surface. It is better if the withstand voltage can be greater than 45V; the simple bridge rectifier output voltage will fluctuate with the grid voltage when AC12V or 24V is input, especially When the voltage is high, the output DC voltage will also be high. If the driver IC cannot adapt to the wide voltage range, it will often be broken down when the grid voltage increases, and the LED lamp beads will also be burned.

4. The ability of the driver chip itself to resist EMI, noise, and high voltage is also related to whether the entire LED lamp bead product can pass CE, UL and other certifications smoothly. Therefore, the driver chip itself must choose excellent topology and high voltage at the beginning of planning. production process.
