Talking about the basic parameters of high-power LED wall washer
LED wall washer and guardrail tube have many similarities, let us take the LED wall washer from Qin Shang as an example to introduce its parameters:
1. Voltage
The voltage of LED wall washer can be subdivided into: 220V, 110V, 36V, 24V, 12V, several kinds, so we pay attention to the corresponding voltage when choosing the power supply.
2. Working temperature
Because wall washers are usually used more outdoors, this parameter is more important, and the temperature requirements are relatively high. Generally, the outdoor temperature we require can work at -40℃+60℃. However, the wall washer is made of an aluminum shell with better heat dissipation, so the general wall washer can meet the requirements.
3. LED lamp beads number
The number of LEDs of the universal wall washer is 9/300mm, 18/600mm, 27/900mm, 36/1000mm, 36/1200mm.
4. Protection level
This is an important parameter of the wall washer, and it is also an important indicator that affects the quality of the current guardrail tube. We have to make strict requirements. We use it outdoors and require the waterproof level to be above IP65. It is also required to have relevant pressure resistance, chipping resistance, high and low temperature resistance, flame resistance, impact resistance and aging grade IP65, 6 means completely preventing dust from entering; 5 means: washing with water without any harm.
5. Control method
There are currently two control methods for LED wall washer: internal control and external control. Internal control means that there is no external controller. The designer designs the control system in the wall lamp, and the degree of effect cannot be changed. The external control is an external controller, and its effect can be changed by adjusting the buttons of the main control. Usually in large-scale projects, customers can change the effect by themselves. We all use external control solutions. There are also many wall washers that directly support DMX512 control systems.
6. Color specifications
2 segments, 6 segments, 4 segments, 8 segments full color, colorful colors, red, yellow, green, blue, purple, white and other colors
7. Light-emitting angle
The light-emitting angle is generally narrow (about 20 degrees), medium (about 50 degrees), and wide (about 120 degrees). At present, the farthest effective projection distance of high-power led wall washer (narrow angle) is 20- 50 meters
8. Mirror
Glass reflective lens, light transmittance is 98-98%, not easy to fog, and can resist UV radiation
9. Light source
Generally, 1W and 3W LEDs are used as light sources, but due to the immature technology, it is more common to use 1W in the market, because 3W generates a large amount of heat, and the light decays faster if it is not good to remove heat. The above parameters must be considered when we choose the LED high-power wall washer. In order to distribute the light emitted by the LED tube for the second time to reduce light loss and make the illuminance better, each LED tube of the wall washer will have a High-efficiency lens made of PMMA.
