The main factors of LED explosion-proof lights in gas stations

I believe that many users have encountered the dead light of LED explosion-proof lights in gas stations. Many LED packaging companies and gas station LED explosion-proof lighting manufacturers will also encounter the same problem. So the question is, what are the direct reasons for the dead lights of LED explosion-proof lights in gas stations?


1. Welding: One or two soldered gold balls are too flat and the breaking force cannot be enough or the pulling force is sufficient, but the positive and negative electrodes at the contact are fragile or too round, and the adhesive force cannot be used. During the use process, as the internal temperature of the lamp bead gradually increases, it is easy to break the line and dead lamp or the problem of false failure and dead lamp occurs.


2. Solid crystal: The amount of glue around the chip substrate is too small, the thermal conductivity coefficient is low, and the heat dissipation conditions during the use of the lamp bead are not good to form a dead lamp.


3. Driving power supply: The current and voltage values are unstable, and the impact load energy from the current is too large and exceeds the scale that the chip can withstand, which constitutes a black-burning circuit of the chip and burns out the electricity, and the function fails or the gold wire is disconnected to form a dead lamp of the lamp bead;


4. Encapsulating silica gel or epoxy resin: The lamp beads increase with the internal temperature during use; after the thermal expansion coefficient and stress index of silica gel reach a peak value, the silica gel thermal expansion cracking phenomenon will occur, and it will directly affect the internal conductive gold. The line is disconnected, which constitutes a dead lamp of the lamp bead;


5. Chip: chip leakage, leakage formed in the process and leakage of the chip itself when it leaves the factory. During the test, the lighting is normal, and the small-scale leakage is sometimes undetectable (such problems can be found by making high-power lamp beads). During the application process, electrical overload will occur, and a small part of the current will be unevenly distributed, which will be sent to the lamp board or bracket. , After a period of use, the brightness is not enough, the light decay is severe, the lamp beads fail, and the internal structure turns black and burns to form a dead lamp;


6. Heat dissipation: When using heat dissipation silicone, there are gaps between the radiator and the heat dissipation conditions or the process of the equipment, the screws are not tightened, the heat dissipation silicone is not evenly coated, the total power wattage of the radiator and lamp beads does not match, and the heat dissipation conditions are poor. After a period of use, it will cause the lamp bead to fail and light to decay seriously and become a black dead lamp.
