What light source is good for the eye protection lamp? What are the types of eye protection lights?

Writing desks generally need to be equipped with special lamps. If the indoor light is not enough, you need to consider the lighting. Generally, an eye protection lamp is installed in the city, so what light source is the eye protection desk lamp? What are the types of eye protection lamps? I believe a lot of people want to know it. Let’s explain it for you by Benwei lighting. Let’s take a look.

What light source is good for the eye protection lamp?

1. LED lights

LED lights have long service life and are green and environmentally friendly, so they have attracted consumers, and they are currently being used all over the world and in many countries. It uses direct current in the working process, which provides users with a very good light source.

2. Incandescent lamp

Incandescent lamp is very common in our daily life, it is more traditional, and it is also a kind of light source used in people's early life. Its advantages are obvious, it does not flicker frequently when used, and its color rendering is higher; but its disadvantage is that it generates higher heat.

Three, energy-saving lamps

Many families now use energy-saving lamps because they save electricity and bring great convenience to people's lives. Its service life is much longer than that of incandescent lamps, but one disadvantage is that the color temperature is higher.

Four, fluorescent lights

The most important component of fluorescent lamps is phosphor. At present, phosphors of three primary colors are gradually applied to this kind of light source, the development is very smooth, and the frequency of use in our daily life is also getting higher and higher.

What are the types of eye protection lights?

1. High frequency light

The communication power in China is 50 Hz, which changes 50 times per second. Therefore, the lights that directly use the communication electricity are all flickering. The flickering frequency is generally 100 times per second, which is double the frequency of the grid, that is, changes 100 times per second. The change that the human eye can perceive is within 30Hz, 100 times per second of light changes (from bright to dark, and then from dark to bright,...) Although we will not be perceivable, but some studies say that these changes (flicker ) Regarding the human eye, it will work. If strong light acts on human eyes, the pupils in the eyes will shrink; for weak light, the pupils will expand.

Therefore, the direct application of electric light bulbs will damage the eyes (referring to students who often use electric light to read books). Someone invented the high-frequency light, which changes tens of thousands of times per second, because the background of human eyes is too late to change with it, and the bottom of the eye cannot feel the change, so it can be said to be "unchanged" and achieve the purpose of eye protection.

Convert the general 50Hz communication power into high-frequency communication power, using electronic frequency conversion. That is, in the high-frequency lamp, the 50Hz communication power is actually first converted into a high-frequency communication power, and then the high-frequency communication power is used to light the lamp.

However, the electromagnetic radiation of high-frequency electricity will also increase, that is, the electromagnetic radiation of high-frequency lamps is larger than that of ordinary incandescent lamps and fluorescent lamps, which may also cause another kind of damage. In addition, high frequency flicker does not mean no flicker.

2. DC lights

So in the end someone invented the DC eye protection lamp, using a DC ballast, by first converting the communication power into a DC power with stable voltage and current, and lighting the lamp with the DC power, it will not flicker at all. Like natural light, the emitted light is continuous and uniform light, very bright, but not glaring at all, and very soft, which greatly relieves eyesight fatigue, and solves the problem of stroboscopic damage to eyesight caused by inductive ballast fluorescent lamps; because the DC technology is used, Without any shaking, it prevents electromagnetic radiation and electromagnetic pollution caused by the high-frequency oscillation of the fluorescent lamp of the high-frequency electronic ballast. However, the process of DC fluorescent lamps is difficult and the cost is high, and many companies are reluctant to use this technology.

3. Electric heating lamps (incandescent lamps, halogen lamps)

The general incandescent lamp is actually a kind of eye protection lamp. Because the communication electricity first heats the filament, the filament heats up, and then emits light. Because the filament has a heat capacity, the filament is still hot when the power supply changes, and the light and dark changes will not be as intense as a fluorescent lamp (fluorescent lamp). Therefore, there is a kind of eye protection lamp, which uses a filament with a large heat capacity.

To judge the heat capacity of the filament, it can be seen intuitively: after the lamp is turned on, the lamp gradually lights up, that is, the heat capacity is large; the one that lights up when it is turned on, is the small heat capacity.

This kind of eye protection lamp that uses a filament with a large heat capacity often has two levels. The low-level heating filament is turned on first, and then the high-level is turned on, and it is used normally. Because when the lamp is first turned on, the filament is not too hot, the current will be relatively large, the filament is simply burned out, and the bulb life is not long. Using two levels to heat the filament first, and then turn on the high-end normal lighting, can effectively extend the service life.
