Why do traditional classroom lights need to be replaced with LED classroom eye protection lights?

Why do traditional classroom lights need to be replaced with LED classroom eye protection lights?

At present, the eyesight problems of primary and middle school students are getting more and more serious, and the country is paying more and more attention to this problem. Many places choose to use special classroom lights to solve this problem, but the fundamental reason is that the design of classroom lights is not reasonable, which is unhealthy. What are the problems with classroom lamps?

   1. Many classroom-specific lamps use simple fluorescent lamps with low quality, low price, high energy consumption, and technology staying at the level of the 1980s and 1990s.

2. There is no special blackboard lamp or the installation of blackboard lamp is not standardized. For example, using ordinary simple fluorescent lamp as the blackboard lamp, not only the blackboard illumination is low, but the visibility is low, students will also see the lamp when watching the blackboard. Direct glare can easily cause visual fatigue.

   3. Many classroom special lamps use inductive ballasts, which have serious stroboscopic effects.

  4. Most lamps use soft hanging, and the ceiling fan is installed above the lamp. When the ceiling fan and the light are turned on at the same time, there will be serious lamp swing and light shaking.

   5. Many lamps use fluorescent tubes with a high color temperature (6500K) and a cold light color. The light is too pale and stiff, which can easily cause visual fatigue.

In summary, the problems of classroom special lamps. In fact, with the continuous improvement of social technology, the shortcomings of the old-fashioned special lamps have been completely improved. The current special lamps will not have the above problems, and as long as they are in use When the design is reasonable, it will not cause the students' visual fatigue, which can effectively reduce the students' myopia.

The State Administration for Market Regulation and the National Standardization Administration approved and issued the "Hygiene Requirements for the Design and Installation of Lighting in General Classrooms in Primary and Secondary Schools" (GB/T36876-2018). In this standard, the illumination and design and installation of desktops and blackboards in general classrooms in primary and secondary schools The sanitary requirements are specified in detail:

   1. Hanging grille lamps should be used, and the lamp efficiency should not be less than 60%.

2, the unified light value (UGR) should not be greater than 19.

   3. The color temperature should be 3300K~5500K, and the color rendering index should not be less than 80.

  4. The classroom desktop maintains an average illuminance not less than 300lx, and the illuminance uniformity is not less than 0.7; the blackboard surface maintains an average illuminance not less than 500lx, and the illuminance uniformity is not less than 0.8.

  5. The installation method of boom is adopted, and it is evenly arranged in the longitudinal direction of the classroom (the long axis of the lamp is perpendicular to the blackboard). The lighting power density of the classroom should not be higher than 11W/㎡, and the area with conditions should be lower than 9W/㎡. The vertical distance (g) between the lamp and the desk is not less than 1700mm.

  6. When calculating the illuminance for lighting design, the maintenance factor should be 0.8.

Classroom lighting needs to use led eye-protecting classroom lighting fixtures with illuminance that meets national standards. The classroom lights developed and produced by Benwei Lighting strictly control the color temperature, glare, blue light, and illuminance in educational lighting to prevent poor lighting from affecting students’ vision health. Cause harm!

Benwei Lighting designed lighting fixtures specially designed for classroom lighting-led eye-protecting classroom lights and led eye-protecting blackboard lights, which conform to the national standard. The desk maintains an average (constant) illuminance greater than 300lx and an illuminance uniformity of 0.7; the blackboard maintains an average (constant) illuminance. 500lx, uniformity of illuminance 0.8; color rendering index greater than 90, high color reproduction; using grille anti-glare design, glare value less than 16, no glare; color temperature is 5000K, comfortable and soft; uniform illumination throughout the classroom, no flicker!
