1. Types of LED energy-saving lamps

This kind of LED energy-saving lamp products are transitional products with low price and poor quality.


Type 2 (5050 SMD): LED energy-saving lamps made of 3528 or 5050 SMD mid-power LEDs. The power supply also generally uses resistance-capacitance step-down circuits. Some manufacturers use constant current circuits. Compared with straw hat LEDs, The chip LED has better heat dissipation. It has a heat-conducting substrate, and when it is matched with an aluminum substrate, a part of the heat can be dissipated. However, due to the neglect of the heat of the LED, many medium-power SMD LED energy-saving lamps do not have a radiator and still use a plastic shell, and the light decay is still serious. The use of resistance-capacitance step-down low-end power supply, because the grid voltage is unstable, the current fluctuates, the brightness fluctuates, and the price is moderate.


Type 3: LED energy-saving lamps made of high-power SMD LEDs. The power supply generally uses a constant current isolation circuit, that is, there is a constant current, such as a 5W LED. Usually 5 1W LED chips are used in series. Constant current 300mA current source power supply, wide voltage power supply, when the power grid fluctuates, the current does not change, the luminous flux, that is, the brightness remains constant, 5 SMD LEDs are welded on the aluminum substrate, and the aluminum substrate is combined with the radiator to use heat It can disperse quickly and in time to ensure that the temperature of the LED chip is lower than the allowable junction temperature of the LED, thereby ensuring the true and effective life of the LED energy-saving lamp. This kind of LED lamp is high in price and good in quality, which is also the development direction of LED energy-saving lamps.


 LED energy-saving lamps have the advantages of small size, high luminous efficiency, long life, low power consumption, convenient use, etc., and are favored by consumers. So far, LED energy-saving lamps have entered thousands of households, but the LED lighting market is not very mature at this stage. The standards of various manufacturers are different, and the national LED lighting standards have not yet been issued, which also restricts the LED lighting market. Healthy development.

At present, the semiconductor lighting industry has formed a three-legged industry distribution and competition pattern dominated by the three major regions of the United States, Asia and Europe. The five major companies have their own characteristics in terms of products and markets. Nichia Chemical and Toyoda Gosei play an important role in the development of LEDs and have formed a complete LED industry chain. Among them, Nichia Chemical was the first to produce blue light chips in 1994, and Patented technology has a monopoly advantage; Cree, GelCore, etc. have their own mature technology systems, but they only focus on the epitaxy and chip preparation in the industry chain; Lumileds focuses on the research and development of high-power LEDs, and its strength in the field of white light lighting Solid.


  The production capacity and technical ability of the new entrants and the LED veteran are about to go hand in hand. Just as Taiwan is already a major producer of white LEDs outside of Japan, the United States and Europe, it is also an important mass producer of blue LED chips. For example, some Taiwanese companies have developed 1700mcd for high-brightness blue LED chips, and 1400mcd has also reached the shipment stage. Therefore, in terms of product output capacity and quality technology, it is no less inferior to traditional LED manufacturers.
