Features and advantages of LED light sources over traditional light sources
Early application of semiconductor PN junction light-emitting principle made of LED light source. The material used at that time was GaAsP, which produced red light (λ=650nm). When the driving current was 20mA, the luminous flux was low, and the corresponding luminous efficiency was about 0.1lm/W. The development and application of gallium nitride crystals and phosphors have continuously improved the performance of white-emitting LED semiconductor solid-state light sources and entered the practical stage. The emergence of white LEDs has enabled high-brightness LED applications to enter the high-efficiency lighting source market.
LED light source has the characteristics of long life, high luminous efficiency, no radiation and low power consumption. LED is a new generation of light source in the future and is recognized as one of the high-tech fields with development prospects.
