The lighting industry in the early 2000's had a phrase for highbays – if they are round take them down. This referred to replacing round HID highbay fixtures with linear fluorescent highbay fixtures.
Fast forward to the late 2010's when LED became the go-to source and now if it's round feel free to keep it round. With rectangular or square fixtures you typically need two hanging points, but there are applications where one mounting point is existing and/or it is difficult to add an additional mounting point.
In addition to that, round LED fixtures are often more robust and can handle a larger variety of environments than rectangular or square LED highbays can. It's okay to be round.
