How to calculate the luminous flux parameters of LED tubes

How to calculate the luminous flux parameters of LED tubes

LED tube luminous flux and led luminous flux are two concepts. After the LED is made into a finished LED tube, test it. At this time, the luminous flux is the luminous flux of the LED tube, so we must understand.

LED luminous flux is the amount of light emitted per unit time called the luminous flux of the LED light source. Unit: Lumen, or lm. For the light source, this quantity describes the total amount of light emitted by the light source, and is equivalent to the light power. The greater the luminous flux of the light source, the more light it emits.

1. How to calculate the luminous flux of the LED tube

There is a special instrument-the integrating sphere test out. It is not calculated artificially.

1. Test small LED lamp beads, using small integrating sphere test

2. To test the LED tube, use a large integrating sphere to test. The integrating spheres with diameters of 1.5 meters and 1.8 meters can not only test the luminous flux of the LED tube, but also test other parameters.

It is a comprehensive photoelectric tester.

3. Led tube luminous flux is insufficient

For the most sensitive 555nm yellow and green light of the human eye, 1W=683lm, that is to say, all the power of 1W is converted into light with a wavelength of 555nm, which is 683 lumens. This is the maximum light conversion efficiency and also the calibration value, because the human eye is most sensitive to 555nm light.

The luminous efficiency of the LED tube is> 80LM per watt, which means that the flux of 18W LED fluorescent light should be about 1500 lumens, the luminous flux of 14W should be more than 1100LM, and the luminous flux of 9W should be more than 780LM. The poor quality can't reach this luminous flux, there are tools that can be measured, very simple tools. There are also some poor-quality LED fluorescent lamps newly bought that can achieve this luminous flux, and the luminous decay is serious after a period of time, and there are many poor-quality LED fluorescent lamps that do not have a 180-degree luminous angle.

4. What is the luminous flux of the LED tube?

The luminous flux of the led tube mainly depends on the overall light effect. Luminous flux lm/power w=light effect

The higher the luminous efficiency, the higher the total luminous flux under the same power.
