1. The first and most important thing you have to consider is the design of the LED light. There are currently two main types of LED tube designs. They are pendants and linear fixtures. It is important to consider your roof type when choosing a design.
2. Get the correct lighting distribution. 120 degree beam angle LED high bay reflector, wide illumination range, recommended for 4-6m height on the floor. 90-degree beam angle LED high bay light reflector is highly recommended for 6-8m, and 45-degree reflector is recommended for 8-12m.
3. The specific environment must be taken into account. Generally speaking, 250 to 300lx countertop illumination is suitable for most workshops. And for most warehouses, 150 to 250lx is enough.
4. Care more about lumens than watts. Even with the same wattage, the lumen output may vary. For example, factory A might produce 140W 80lm/W LED lights, while another factory B might produce 120W and 110lm/W LED lights. Of course, the 110LM/W gives you value for money.
5. Higher constant current power supply and high power factor power efficiency are important, so that LED lights can be environmentally friendly and energy efficient. It can also provide a longer lifetime of the entire lighting fixture. A typical high-quality power supply has a lifespan of 35,000 to 50,000 hours. Typically, a power supply's lifespan is halved for every 10 degrees Celsius increase in operating temperature, and vice versa. The same goes for LED light sources. Internal connection wires melt faster when operated continuously at high temperatures.
6. Before bulk purchase, 48-72 hours of testing is required to check stability and brightness.
