The area within the triangle is where the lamp post is installed. By using a variety of projection lamps with different beam angles, a suitable illuminance distribution can be produced on the football field.
But nowadays, high-definition television broadcasting needs to have a higher and evenly distributed vertical illuminance, and at the same time, the angle of the light incident on the football field is far less than the required limit. In view of the hazards caused by the higher brightness obtained by using large and medium-sized gas discharge lamps, coupled with the high height of the traditional lighthouse (a kind of lamp post), it will inevitably cause excessive glare.
The shortcomings of this four-corner cloth lamp installation method are: the visual effect of different viewing directions is relatively large, and the shadow part is deeper. From the color TV broadcast, it is necessary to achieve the vertical illuminance in all directions while suppressing glare. Well, it is really difficult. If you want to meet the Ev/Eh ratio standard and reduce glare, you must carry out some rectification plans for the lighting installation of the four corners of the football field.
(1) Move the position of the four corners to the left and right and outside the boundary line, so that the football field is directly opposite and the four corners can get a certain vertical illumination.
(2) Increase the number of projection lights on the lamp post on the side of the main camera of the HD TV to enhance the beam projection.
(3) Add light strip lamps to the top of the auditorium on the side of the main HDTV camera.
To control the glare, it is best not to let the spectators at both ends of the football field notice it.
