1. High security and high reliability
As an enterprise engaged in LED production, this is the basic production ethics of LED lighting products. Especially LED lighting used in high places outdoors, such as LED street lights, etc., because they are installed at high altitudes, maintenance is very inconvenient, and the maintenance cost is huge. In many cases, the cost of replacing an LED power supply is much higher than the cost of the LED power supply itself. Circumstances, so saving money in this regard can be said to be grossly unwise.
2. High power factor
Regarding the issue of power factor, because it is only related to the grid and has nothing to do with our personal electricity bills, it is often ignored by consumers. But we should clearly recognize the impact of power factor on the power grid. Simply put, we use LED lights with a power factor of 0.5 for lighting. Every kilowatt of electricity we use, the grid consumes two degrees, especially when lights are concentrated at night. At that time, the pressure on the power grid will increase a lot, and our LED lights will cause serious pollution to the power grid. Therefore, when choosing an LED power supply, there must be certain requirements for the power factor of the LED drive power supply.
3. High efficiency
LED lighting is originally a kind of high-efficiency light, and it must be matched by a high-efficiency LED drive power supply. Otherwise, the energy-saving effect of LED lights is difficult to reflect. This is especially important for the LED power supply installed in the lamp. If the efficiency of the LED power supply is high, then its heat will be small. Otherwise, the heat of the power supply will add to the heat of the LED energy-saving lamp itself. .
4. Drive mode
At this stage, there are two main types of LED power supplies on the market: one is a constant voltage source for multiple constant current sources, which is what we often talk about as LED constant current drive power supplies. Each constant current source individually supplies power to each LED. In this way, the combination is flexible, and the failure of one LED will not affect the work of other LEDs, but the cost will be slightly higher. There is also a direct constant current power supply, with LEDs running in series or in parallel. Its advantage is that the cost is lower, but the flexibility is poor. If one LED lamp bead fails, it will affect the operation of other LEDs. These two types of LED drive still coexist at this stage. However, when choosing LED power supply, it is recommended to use multi-channel constant current output power supply as the main method, which will be better in terms of cost and performance. 5. Surge protection
LEDs have poor protection against surges and poor resistance to reverse voltage. Therefore, it has become a very important thing that the LED power supply strengthens the protection of Langtong. There must be circuit and automatic disconnection protection to reduce the impact of lightning strikes and grid instability on the LED lights.
6. To meet the requirements of environmental protection and electromagnetic interference
Basically, they must have CE and ROSH certification. Especially in hospitals and other places that require relatively high electromagnetic compatibility, we must pay more attention to this point.
