LED street light housings are designed by manufacturers and generally have relevant patents. Other manufacturers are not allowed to produce the same or similar housings without permission. The street lamp manufacturer asks the mold factory to make the lamp shell mold, and then it is integrally die-casted with aluminum alloy to produce the blank. Why use aluminum alloy? Aluminum alloy is the most widely used non-ferrous metal material in the industry. Aluminum alloy has low density, high strength and good plasticity. It can be processed into various profiles and has good electrical conductivity, thermal conductivity and corrosion resistance. After the aluminum alloy is integrally die-casted, finishing and surface treatment, phosphating, powder spraying, and finally high-temperature curing are required. Why Surface Treatment? The aluminum alloy of the untreated street lamp housing has limited corrosion resistance and needs to be phosphating and powder spraying.
