Led tube materials are divided into high, medium and low grades
Until now, there are basically the following types of LED tube products on the market;
1.) Shade:
A.) Low-end products: PVC, PE, acrylic transparent or matte.
B.) Mid-range product: PC.
C.) High-end products: special polymer plastic materials.
2.) LED light board:
A.) Low-end products: general PCB.
B.) Mid-range products: 1.0mm (inclusive)/2MK or less aluminum substrate.
C.) High-end products: aluminum substrates above 1.5mm/2MK.
4.) Radiator:
A.) Low-end products: No aluminum alloy is used at all, and the LED light board is directly inserted into the so-called lampshade tube.
B.) Mid-range products: #5 or #6 semi-circular aluminum alloy sheet or hollow aluminum alloy sheet.
C.) High-end products: adopt solid special aluminum alloy materials.
5.) Drive power:
A.) Built-in type: However, the manufacturer emphasizes deceiving consumers by “replacement is very convenient”.
b.) External type: The low-end product is purely a power supply that can convert AC to DC, and the cost of all materials is less than 2 US dollars; if it is a little better, the power factor is increased to 70~80%, but the power supply efficiency can only be below 70% , Or even less than 60%. The actual power consumption displayed in this way must be added to the product's watt mark value plus 70~80% of the power consumption. As for the service life of the LED tube, there is no need to look forward to it. Because the life span of its driving power supply can't reach 10,000 hours.
