More cost-effective than LED tubes than fluorescent lamps

In some places that work continuously for 24 hours, such as underground parking lots, factories that work overtime 24 hours a day, etc. Power saving is also very important. As mentioned above, a T8 LED fluorescent lamp can save about 20 watts of electricity, which can save 20x365x24/1000=175.2 kWh in a year. If it is calculated at 0.7 yuan per kilowatt-hour of electricity, then 122.64 yuan can be saved in electricity bills in one year, and the cost of this LED fluorescent lamp can be saved in two years. The electricity bills saved in the future will become pure income.

Although the current price of LED fluorescent lamps is about ten times that of fluorescent lamps, it is still cost-effective if it is related to its lifespan, power saving and pollution-free point of view. Because if compared with a fluorescent lamp with a lifespan of 5,000 hours, an LED fluorescent lamp with a lifespan of 50,000 hours is already worth 10 times the price to buy, and the energy saved in the meantime is a pure benefit. In Japan, because fluorescent lamps contain mercury, a broken fluorescent lamp has to pay the same amount of money as a new fluorescent lamp as a toxic substance disposal fee.

Therefore, even if long-life (10,000 hours) fluorescent lamps are used in Japan, the cost is equivalent to 10 times more expensive LED fluorescent lamps.
