1. The problem of school lighting and lighting environment standards


There are two reasons why classroom lights still use fluorescent lamps in some areas. First, for the mandatory environmental standard GB7793 for lighting and lighting in primary and secondary schools, the standard stipulates the use of trichromatic fluorescent tubes and electronic ballasts. Second, there are still some people who believe that there is a certain risk of damage to vision caused by blue light in LEDs. The author believes that there are indeed clauses in the GB7793 standard that mention the use of tri-color fluorescent tubes and electronic ballasts, but it is clearly written in the preface that some are mandatory clauses and some are recommended clauses. There is no need at this stage or in the future to still endorse this standard of recommended clauses as fluorescent lamps to stand for classroom lighting. Regarding the second point, the so-called blue light risk problem has been clearly concluded in the relevant technical papers and international and domestic relevant standards discussed in the industry in recent years, and my country has relevant mandatory standards and detection methods for blue light. .


Second, the technical and standard status of the two products


As we all know, LED, as the technological development of indoor lighting, has completely surpassed fluorescent lamps in all technical parameters, market understanding, standard system and cost price. There have been clear regulations and relevant standards for the prevention and control of the related glare, blue light, stroboscopic, color temperature, color rendering, illuminance, uniformity, energy saving, and standard installation methods that are affected by turning off the myopia light, which constitutes the school. A complete system of classroom design, lighting requirements, building space distribution, product safety standards, performance standards, and energy-saving standards, covering national mandatory standards, recommended standards, group standards, industry standards and local standards. Only some standards were formulated earlier and need to be further revised and updated to better meet market requirements, so as to guide market services. There is no problem of unacceptable acceptance and inability to meet classroom lighting requirements that a small number of people worry about.


3. Comparison of advantages and disadvantages of the two products and practical application


Fluorescent lamps and LEDs have long had a complete comparison of their advantages and disadvantages in the industry, but they are used in different fields, with different advantages and disadvantages. LEDs have more complete advantages when used in classroom lighting, while fluorescent lamps contain mercury. Toxic and harmful is the biggest unknown hidden danger for schools. At the same time, LED has more advantages than fluorescent lamps in terms of performance indicators, switching times, energy-saving life, intelligent control, etc., and there are more uncertain factors in the future after-sales of fluorescent lamps. At present, in the cities piloted by schools across the country, the actual use of LEDs as classroom lights is significantly more than that of fluorescent lamps. Even, some local schools have taken the initiative to resist the phenomenon of fluorescent lamps.


LED educational lamp manufacturers also ardently hope that relevant industry enterprises will promote the synchronization of standards with the market as soon as possible, and while the demand side can quickly achieve the goal, the basic judgment of the market and technology can not be like others, and there must be scientific cognition and responsibility for school lighting Responsibility is the right time to prevent and control myopia.
