New data shows that in the first half of 2016, the cumulative output value of incandescent light bulbs in the country reached 2.012 billion, and after October 1, most of the incandescent light bulbs faced withdrawal.
According to the current market price of LED bulbs that replace incandescent lamps of 15W and above, there will be an annual increase of nearly 50 billion yuan in replacement market demand.
Among all exported lighting commodities in the first half of this year, the export volume of incandescent lamps for general lighting was almost the same as that of the same period last year, and there was no significant decline.
Because the filament lamp can achieve full ambient light effect, and the appearance is similar to the traditional tungsten filament lamp, it has an antique personality, and is widely loved by European and American consumers in the shopping mall, and the distributors also pay the bill.
This also directly led to the continued popularity of the filament lamp market in the first half of this year. Some "players" with large overseas retail channels continue to enter the market. For example, large supermarkets such as IKEA, Home Depot, and Wal-Mart have begun to enter the sub-category of filament lamps.
Statistics show that in 2015, the global market demand for LED filament lamps reached 70 million, and it is estimated that the global demand for LED filament lamps in 2016 will reach 220 million, an increase of 367% year-on-year.
In the next three years, with the improvement of automatic production of LED filament lamps, the output value will rise rapidly.
As a competitive product to replace the traditional incandescent lamp market, the size of the LED filament lamp market will reach about 8 billion yuan in the future.
