The difference between LED lamps and energy-saving lamps

The difference between LED lamps and energy-saving lamps

We use a variety of lamps in our lives, among which incandescent lamps, energy-saving lamps, LED lamps and fluorescent lamps are often used. These lamps have their own uses and advantages. Today we will take a look at the difference between LED lamps and energy-saving lamps.

LED uses a cold light source, with little glare, no radiation, and no harmful substances are generated during use. The working voltage of LED is low, and it adopts DC drive mode, ultra-low power consumption (single tube 0.03~0.06W), electro-optical power conversion is close to 100%, and energy saving is more than 80% compared with traditional light sources under the same lighting effect. The environmental protection benefits of LED are better, there are no ultraviolet and infrared rays in the spectrum, and the waste is recyclable, pollution-free, mercury-free, safe to touch, and belongs to a typical green lighting source. At the same time, the LED is a solid cold light source, encapsulated by epoxy resin, anti-vibration, and there is no loose part in the lamp body. There are no shortcomings such as easy burning, thermal deposition, and light decay of the filament. The service life can reach 60,000 to 100,000 hours. The service life of traditional light sources is more than 10 times.

Energy-saving lamps, also known as compact fluorescent lamps (abbreviated as CFL lamps abroad), have the advantages of high luminous efficiency (5 times that of ordinary bulbs), obvious energy-saving effect, long life (8 times that of ordinary bulbs), small size, and easy use. It works basically the same as a fluorescent lamp. In addition to white (cold light), energy-saving lamps now have warm light. Generally speaking, under the same wattage, an energy-saving lamp is 80% more energy efficient than incandescent lamps, the average life span is 8 times longer, and the heat radiation is only 20%. Under non-strict conditions, a 5-watt energy-saving lamp can be regarded as equal to a 25-watt incandescent lamp, a 7-watt energy-saving lamp is approximately equal to 40 watts, and a 9-watt energy-saving lamp is approximately equal to 60 watts.

I believe that through the above introduction, you must have clearly understood the difference between LED lamps and energy-saving lamps. For more knowledge, please continue to pay attention to the official website of Benwei Lighting!
