The growth of all things depends on the sun, and the requirements of plants for light are mainly light color, spectrum, light intensity and light time. Therefore, plant growth can be greatly improved by artificially developing the illumination of specific spectrum lighting products. LED plant lights can be widely used in plant cultivation, but electricity costs account for about 30% of the production cost of plant factories. The development of resource-saving light sources is a necessary requirement for building plant factories.

Sunlight is composed of many light waves of different wavelengths, and only a very small part of the solar radiation spectrum affects photosynthesis, accounting for about 5% of the proportion of sunlight. Through research, the optimal ratio of red light of 620-680nm and blue-violet light of 400-500nm has been obtained, and LED plant light has been successfully developed.

LED grow lights can not only emit monochromatic light with narrow light waves, such as red, orange, yellow, green, blue, infrared, etc., and can be arbitrarily combined according to different needs of plants, but also a cold light source with low heat generation characteristics, and reduce pesticides , hormones and other chemicals to ensure food safety.


♦ The following are the light source ratio parameters required by 14 common vegetables:

(1) Lettuce: the light sources of red and blue light of 6:1 and 7:1 for planting and seedling raising are the most suitable for its growth.

(2) Chinese chives: The mass ratios of plant height, stem diameter and leaf width of Chinese chives under the red/blue 7∶1 treatment were significantly higher than those of other treatments.

(3) Cucumber: 7:2 is the best ratio of red and blue light for the growth of cucumber seedlings, and 7:1 is the best ratio in the growth period.

(4) Green cabbage and water spinach: 7:1 is the best ratio of red and blue light for the growth of green cabbage and water spinach leaves.

(5) White radish: the most suitable light quality for growth: the ratio of red and blue light is 8:1.

(6) Lettuce: The ratio of red and blue light is 9:1, which is beneficial to the growth of lettuce.

(7) Strawberries and tomatoes: 9:1 red and blue light is the most favorable for the growth of strawberries and tomatoes, and the fruits are plump and rich in nutrients.

(8) Holly: The ratio of red and blue light is 8:1. Holly grows best, is strong and has a very developed root system.

(9) Sprouts: the ratio of red, green and blue light of 6:2:1 has the most obvious effect.

(10) Calla lily: The best growth condition is the ratio of red and blue light 6:2.

(11) Anthurium scorching sun: Comprehensive analysis, red and blue light 7:3 treatment is better, which is beneficial to morphology, root growth and dry matter accumulation.

(12) Dendrobium officinale: red and blue light 7:3, its proliferation effect is the best; 6:4, it is more conducive to photosynthesis and material accumulation of seedlings.

♦ Taking lettuce as an example, the required planting environment parameters are: Illuminance above the plant: 2600-2900lx (pure red and blue spectral illuminance value, non-white illuminance value), no natural light, complete artificial lighting system, early irradiation period 6h On, 2h off, 3 times a day; 14h on, 10h off, 2 times a day; Ambient temperature: 28-30°C (later air conditioners are added, and maintain at 28°C); Relative humidity: 50%-70% (later The air conditioner is turned on to about 60%)
