The color temperature, illuminance, lumens, color rendering index, light distribution, etc. must be designed according to the actual space function requirements. 1. Color temperature selection of LED hotel lighting
For the hotel, the main purpose is a transit point for business and travel, and a temporary residence for rest and rest. Therefore, the color temperature requires comfort, comfort and warmth. Different spaces of LED hotel lighting should be mainly warm white light around 3000K. Except for the light source of pure white or cool white that can be above 3500K in the bathroom, all other spaces should be warm white. Highlight warm and comfortable.
2. The color rendering index of LED hotel lighting
The color rendering index of hotel lighting LED lighting fixtures is slightly different according to different functional space requirements. Generally speaking, the bathroom and the restaurant require a higher color rendering index, and the lobby lounge area can be slightly lower. Requirements for lobby, service desk, guest lounge area, Ra>85. The color rendering index of Chinese and Western restaurants requires Ra>90. The color rendering index of the toilet requires Ra>90.
3. Illumination requirements for LED hotel lighting in different functional spaces
In the entrance and the front hall, the design illuminance should reach 500 Lux on the level 1m from the ground. Illumination requirements of the service center: generally 750-1000 Lux. The illuminance requirements of the guest lounge area are generally 300-500 Lux. The illuminance of general lighting in Chinese restaurants is 200 Lux, and the illuminance of general lighting in Western restaurants is 50-100 Lux. Guest room illuminance is generally required to be 50-100Lux, but local lighting, such as the lighting in front of the vanity mirror, bedside reading lighting, etc., should provide sufficient illuminance. These areas can take the illuminance value of 300Lux.
4. About the light distribution standard of LED hotel lighting
For the different functional areas of the hotel, there must be requirements for the light intensity distribution, central light intensity and half light intensity of the light distribution curve. Generally speaking, the lobby of the hotel is very high. For spaces with a floor height of more than 6 meters, too large a beam angle will result in insufficient ground light intensity. For guest rooms and other spaces, if the beam angle is too narrow, the ground will be too bright and the vertical surface will be insufficiently illuminated.
If the ceiling height exceeds 6m, it is suitable for narrow beam LED lighting fixtures, providing continuous and uniform brightness. For example, if the distance is 6m, the light intensity at the center of its light distribution curve should be no less than 500cd at 1m from the ground; if the height jump is no more than 6m, strip or planar illuminators can be considered.
