WHAT DO PAR20 PAR30 PAR38 STAND FOR?

Before making a decision about which LED lights will work best for your needs, we need to know the measurements of light, such as Lumens, PAR, CRI, etc. We are never well prepared to accept some slangs, such as PAR20, PAR30, and PAR38; what do they really mean for LED lights; and how to determine the indicative numbers and letters.

It is commonly used for the same effect as the stage, aircraft landing lights, home-living lights, etc. PAR LED lights are running for good effect under the lower budget. PAR is an acronym for Parabolic Aluminized Reflector, and we take it as the indication of what type LED lamps are belonging to.

You must be aware of what the attached numbers represent. PAR20 stands for 20 denotes, which is the precise length from brim to brim of LED lights, or 20/8 inch in diameter, or roughly 64mm; PAR30 stands for 30 denotes, which is 30/8 inch in length close to 95mm; and PAR38, which stands for 38 denotes, which is 38/8 inch in length, or roughly 120mm.

It will have PAR lights beaming in compact angles despite the shapes of lens in flat, round, and so on; you will notice the difference.
