Case Analysis of Comprehensive Energy Saving Reform in Hospital
1. Project overview
The newly-built ward building of a certain hospital has 21 floors, with a construction area of 48,000 square meters, can accommodate 800 beds, and the building is equipped with large water-cooled central air conditioners. It will provide basic guarantee for the leap-forward development of the hospital and the creation of a national tertiary-A general hospital.
Three, there are problems
Considering the long-term development and increased service items of the hospital, 48,000 square meters, 800 beds, according to the city’s actual population of 4.39 million, the newly added beds can accommodate the city’s 1.88 million population; the area is large and the population is large, the hospital can Problems such as high energy consumption, troublesome energy consumption statistics, serious energy waste, and energy safety are emerging in an endless stream.
Fourth, the solution
In order to ensure the safety of the building’s electricity use, facilitate centralized control of the building’s electrical equipment, and do a good job of energy conservation and emission reduction, and improve management efficiency. Based on the principles of safety, health, and elimination of waste, comprehensive energy reforms should be carried out in hospitals.
In terms of energy saving, it is combined with the hospital's own conditions. The main energy-saving measures are:
(1) Energy-saving renovation of the lighting system. Use high-efficiency luminous light source to replace the original low-efficiency light source, improve the illuminance and color rendering while saving energy, and improve the lighting environment. The replacement of energy-saving lamps can save more than 60% of electricity under the same illuminance.
(2) Energy-saving transformation of the air-conditioning system. Air-conditioning energy consumption accounts for about 50% of the total energy consumption of the hospital, and can account for up to 65% of the total energy consumption of the building. Therefore, lower energy consumption of the air-conditioning system is an essential energy-saving measure. The main technical measures for air conditioning energy saving can be summarized as reducing cooling load, improving the efficiency of refrigeration units, using natural cold sources, reducing the power consumption of water system pumps, reducing fan power consumption, adopting natural ventilation, using intelligent control systems, and central air conditioning waste heat recovery .
(3) Water-saving transformation, the energy-saving of the hospital's domestic water supply system can be achieved through manual detection of water leakage, terminal intelligent control, replacement of water-saving faucets, intelligent software monitoring, etc. At the same time, install water-saving devices or water-saving showers in the bathing rooms of hospital wards, and save water in combination with quota management. The sensor device is used to confirm whether someone is using it to control the opening and closing of the faucet, so as to avoid water waste.
5. Effect evaluation
1. Electricity consumption: Before the renovation, 194 offices consumed 1219057.2 kWh of electricity, 309 wards consumed 239,4997.2 kWh, and all the electricity consumption was 3614054.4 kWh. After the installation of the system, the electricity consumption in the office was 748684.8 kWh, the electricity consumption in the ward was 1872169.2 kWh, and the total power consumption was 2620854 kWh. The total energy saving rate is 27.48%.
2. Energy consumption statistics: The previous hospital energy consumption statistics used manual meter reading. The statistical workload is large, the data accuracy is low, and the labor cost formula; after the transformation, the electricity consumption data report can be automatically generated every month, and each The department’s electricity consumption data is ranked before and after.
3. Operation management: Before the renovation, the hospital had a lot of management costs for property and logistics, and the property and logistics staff spent a lot of time to check the various equipment of the hospital, and the property and logistics staff who had no experience when there was a problem had a large amount of troubleshooting work for the problem. , Unable to find out the problem in time, resulting in serious waste of energy consumption in the hospital and affecting the normal operation of the hospital; after the renovation, the hospital’s property and logistics management costs have been reduced. When problems such as water and electricity in the hospital occur, the problem can be investigated in time to reduce the problem The investigation work effectively stops the problem of waste of energy consumption.
