LED application common sense and performance testing
1. Product application common sense and performance testing are as follows:
(1) Soldering iron welding: The temperature of the tip of the soldering iron (up to 30W) should not exceed 300 °C; the welding time should not exceed 3 seconds; the welding position should be at least 2 mm away from the colloid.
(2) Dip soldering: the maximum temperature for dip soldering is 260°C; the dip soldering time does not exceed 5 seconds; the dip soldering position is at least 2 mm away from the colloid.
2. Lead forming method:
(1) The bracket must be bent at a distance of 2 mm from the colloid.
(2) The forming of the bracket must be done with a jig or by a professional.
(3) The bracket forming must be completed before welding.
(4) The forming of the bracket needs to ensure that the pins and spacing are consistent with the circuit board.
3. LED installation method
(1) Pay attention to the arrangement of the external lines of various devices to prevent wrong polarity installation. The device should not be too close to the heating element, and the operating conditions should not exceed its specified limits.
(2) Be sure not to mount the LED with the pins deformed.
(3) When deciding to install in the hole, calculate the size and tolerance of the hole and the hole distance on the circuit board to avoid excessive pressure on the bracket.
(4) When installing the LED, it is recommended to use the guide sleeve for positioning.
(5) Before the soldering temperature returns to normal, it is necessary to avoid any vibration or external force on the LED.
4. Cleaning
Special care must be taken when cleaning colloids with chemicals, as some chemicals can damage the colloid surface and cause discoloration such as trichloroethylene, acetone, etc. It can be wiped and impregnated with ethanol, and the time should not exceed 3 minutes at room temperature.
