What is glare and its classification

 Glare can be divided into disability glare and uncomfortable glare. The glare that reduces the vision of the human eye is called disability glare, which reduces the visibility of visual objects, but does not necessarily produce uncomfortable feelings; the glare that makes people feel unpleasant is called disabling glare.

 1. The reason for the glare of the led tube

(1) The higher the brightness of the light source, the more prominent the glare.

(2) The closer the light source is to the line of sight, the more prominent the glare.

(3) The larger the surface area of the light source, the more the number of light sources, the more prominent the glare.

(4) The darker the brightness of the surrounding environment, the lower the adaptation brightness of the eyes, and the more prominent the glare.

 2. The glare does not refer to the light source, but the concept used for lamps. The rise of led tubes is replacing the market of ordinary fluorescent lamps. Because the lamps are ready-made and cannot be changed, T8led tubes need to be closer to the effect of ordinary fluorescent lamps, which causes the problem of glare.

 

The brightness of the led tube is better

 1. When the brightness of the light source is extremely high or the brightness difference between the background and the middle of the field of view is large, "glare" will occur.

2. The high brightness of the led tube is the source of glare, and the eyes will be blinded by strong light for a long time. Because the strong light stimulates the eyes, especially the lens, and damages the eyeball, it causes a photoelectric response to a certain extent, so that the eyes become cloudy and deteriorated, and the vision is significantly reduced.

3. For example, in school lighting, students study for a long time, and often stay in classrooms with glare classroom lights, which will not only affect the quality of students' class, but also seriously affect their visual health.

 

How to solve the glare of the led tube?

1. The glare is caused by the excessive concentration of light. Scattering is a way to reduce the efficiency, but the reflection is much better. It is recommended to use matte silver reflective material to disperse the light from the light source. Do not let the LED light-emitting element be in a place where people can see it. It will be more comfortable for the light to reach the human eye after at least one reflection.

  2. Some of the LED light-emitting elements are flickering, which is quite dazzling. If you watch the light source while shaking at night, you can find discontinuous visual afterimages to explain the problem. Cigarette butts and incandescent lamps are continuous and non-glare. .

3. Anti-glare LED tubes need to consider the brightness of the LEDs, the arrangement and spacing between the LEDs, the distance between the LED itself and the optical housing, the shape of the optical housing, the light transmittance, etc., rather than a simple housing or arrangement problem.


 

What is the light effect of the led tube?

 The luminous efficiency of the LED tube is related to the lumen value of the LED itself. Some are high-lumen LEDs and some are low-lumen LEDs. The luminous efficiency of a good LED tube can reach more than 160LM/W. Compared with ordinary fluorescent tubes, it can save energy by more than 80%.

 

 LED tubes are of wide voltage AC85-277V, and some can even achieve high voltage without burning out. He doesn't need a starter and ballast, it is easy to install, and if the LED tube does not light up, it can be repaired. The LED tube adopts half-aluminum and half-PC, which is not easy to be broken and is safe to use.
